Executive Council and Strategic Council Leadership

Interested in serving on the Iowa ACC Strategic Council?
Serving on the Iowa ACC Strategic Council is an excellent opportunity for you to be involved with Iowa ACC and also open opportunities with ACC Nationally. Please respond with your interest to Dr. Spas Kotev and Lezlie Mestdagh, along with your CV and statement of interest for consideration.

Specifically, Councilors and ACC leaders shall:

1. Educate members about the value of Chapter and national membership, including specific results ACC yields for its’ members.
2. Serve as a Key Contact in their District and assist members in contacting legislators and responding to legislative alerts. Enlist support for state legislative issues, which may affect cardiovascular practices. Contact Legislators with the Chapter’s position on legislation.
3. Attend Chapter Annual Meetings and encourage members in their District to attend.

Charge and Function of Executive Committee: shall meet as necessary between regularly scheduled meetings of the Council in order to carry on, promote and facilitate the goals and purposes of the Chapter.
